Who We Are (Manifesto)

We believe working mothers can achieve work-life balance. That we should be in careers that fit us and our life choices. We believe there is no one track to success and that every woman must define her own work-life balance. That’s why we started Blazers & Baby. 

Blazers and Baby connects young working mothers (and working mothers-to-be) with one another and the resources they need to integrate their work and home lives by thoughtfully and intentionally managing their energy, time and resources. We want to help women raise happy families, thrive in their careers and achieve the goals that matter to them. We want to share your stories. So what you do you want to do today?

Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower women to wear the blazer and nurture the baby with confidence and pride by:

• Creating safe spaces—through BNB Circles—for authentic connection, mentorship, and support.
• Equipping mothers with tools and resources to integrate their work and home lives intentionally.
• Celebrating diverse journeys and stories that inspire balance, growth, and resilience.
• Helping women raise happy families while excelling in their careers and pursuing meaningful goals.

About the Founders

Blazers & Baby was founded by two passionate women who deeply understand the journey of balancing ambition and motherhood.

Osemhem Okenyi

Osemhem is dedicated to helping women embrace their dual identities as ambitious professionals and nurturing mothers. She brings her experience, vision, and passion for women’s empowerment to Blazers & Baby, ensuring that every woman feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

Isioma Asiodu-Otughwor

Isioma is driven by the belief that no woman should have to choose between her career and her family. With her leadership and heart for community, she co-founded Blazers & Baby to provide resources, connection, and support for women redefining what success looks like in every stage of their journey.
